March 2023 Interim Quarterly Confidential Feedback Reports for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 SNF Value Based Purchasing (VBP) program are available to download in the QIES/CASPER reporting system.
Reports include interim stay-level data for the SNF 30-Day All-Cause Readmission Measure (SNFRM) for 10/1/21-6/30/22, the FY 2024 SNF VBP program performance period. Interim data is not final and subject to change.
It’s anticipated that CMS will lift its suppression policy for FY 2024; and will once again assign individualized incentive payments to SNFs, rather than a blanket incentive payment multiplier. Expect that your performance on March 2023 Quarterly reports will impact future VBP incentive payments.
